Crackdown against auto-rickshaw workshops, battery recharging stations soon

The authorities concerned will immediately launch crackdowns to remove auto-rickshaw manufacturing workshops and battery recharging stations in and around the capital, Dhaka, to stop the plight caused by the menace.

Mohammad Azaz, administrator of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), sounded a note of caution while talking to reporters in Mirpur area of the capital, Dhaka, on Saturday.

He also called upon the house owners’ association in different areas not to allow the battery-run auto rickshaw in their localities.

The DNCC administrator also urged the city dwellers to extend their all-out cooperation to eliminate the illegal vehicles and hawkers from the footpath of the capital.
