Find out whether defeated forces involved in violence against children, women: Salauddin to govt

Staff Reporter:

BNP Standing Committee Member Salauddin Ahmed has strongly condemned the recent surge in nationwide crimes against children and women and urged the government to investigate whether defeated forces are involved in these incidents.

The BNP leader made the call while addressing a programme held at the Dhaka University (DU) on Saturday marking the International Women’s Day.

Claiming that the violence against children and women is rising at an alarming rate, he said, “The government must deal with issue with a strong hand, otherwise our image will be ruined.”
