The newly appointed seven members of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) took oath yesterday.
Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed administered the oath at swearing-in ceremony at the Supreme Court Judges’ Lounge here.
The newly sworn-in seven members are- Professors at Dhaka University (DU) Dr Md Sharif Hossain and Dr Ferdous Arfina Osman, Prof at Bangladesh Agricultural University Dr Shahnaz Sarkar, former For-eign Cadre Officer Sabbir Ahmed Chowdhury, former Health Cadre Officer ATM Farhad Uddin, Briga-dier General (retd) Anwarul Islam and former Additional Inspector General of Police Md Munir Hoss-ain.
The notification appointing the seven PSC members was issued on February 19.
