Five private land service centers opened in capital

Land Ministry Senior Secretary ASM Saleh Ahmed yesterday inaugurated five private land service cen-ters to take the service to the door steps of the people of Tejgaon, Dhanmondi and Keraniganj revenue circles.
The secretary at a function in city’s Bhumi Bhaban inaugurated these centers from where the people can submit their applications for their desired land services by paying a particular amount of money (fees).
Chairman of the Land Appeal Board Md Ibrahim was present at the inauguration as special guest where ministry’s Additional Secretary Md Endadul Haque Chowdhury and Joint Secretary Mohammad Jahirul Islam were also present.
These centers under the supervision of the land ministry, after taking necessary approval from the Depu-ty Commissioner’s office, will provide all required assistance to the people to save them from the har-assment of any quarter.
These five service centers are located at 1. Satarkul East Podordia, Badda under Tejgaon revenue circle, 2. Digital Land Consultancy Centre, Katabon, New Market area under Dhanmondi revenue circle, 3. Noor Technology, Ati Bazar, Keraniganj under Keraniganj Model revenue circle, 4. Iktidar Training and Khan Computer, Chun Kutia intersection, South Keraniganj and 5. Shuvadda Kacharipara, south Keran-iganj under Keraniganj South revenue circle.
Primarily, people can pay their land development tax, collect their mutations, Khatians and designs from these centers by paying government fixed low fees.
The Land Secretary said that the government has launched these service centres to give peoples friendly and hassle-free services.
Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka, Additional Deputy Commissioner-Revenue and Assistant Commission-ers (Land) of the concerned circles were present during the inauguration.
