Adviser Mahfuj Alam on Saturday said the next parliamentary election will be held among those who adopt a pro-Bangladesh stance.
“Fascist Awami League and anti-Bangladesh elements will not be allowed to participate in the polls in any way,” he said while exchanging greetings with students and people in Chandpur’s Hajiganj Bazar.
The adviser said pro-Bangladesh political parties as well as student and other organisations will stay in the country and they will assume power through a fair election and positive competition.
“And, they will establish a non-discriminatory and just governance system for the people of Bangladesh.”
While speaking on the government’s priority issues, Mahfuj said, “Our government prioritises prosecuting the murderers, ensuring trial of enforced disappearance, killing and rape cases, reformation, and giving the country a fair election with the participation of all pro-Bangladesh political parties – which has not been possible in the last 16 years.”
