A fire broke out at a leather warehouse located on the fifth floor of a seven-storey building in Dhaka’s Hazaribagh area on Friday.
The blaze started at around 2:14 pm, said DAD of FSCD headquarters media cell Shahjahan Sikder.
10 firefighting units are currently trying to bring the fire under control, he said.
Four additional fire units are being dispatched to provide further assistance, he added.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and no casualties have been reported so far, the fire official also said.
