Two muggers held in city

Police yesterday arrested two active members of a professional robbery gang in the city’s Mirpur area.
The arrested have been identified as Md. Shuvo alias Solaiman, 29, and Md. Rubel ,32, .
Being tipped off, police arrested the duo from Mirpur-11 Bus Stand Area at 12:30 am last night, police said.
Police sources said that the arrestees are active members of a professional robbery gang and there are multiple cases against the arrested Md. Shuvo alias Solaiman and Md. Rubel with various po-lice stations of theft, robbery, banditry, and drugs.
Further legal action against the arrested persons is under process.
