The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has issued traffic guidelines for vehicles attending the Na-tional Shaheed Minar-centric events on December 31.
The public is urged to follow the instructions to ensure smooth traffic flow and avoid congestion in the city.
1. Vehicles entering via Gabtoli will park at Manik Mia Avenue and the Old Trade Fair Ground in Agargaon.
2. Vehicles entering via Sayedabad and Jatrabari will park at the Dhaka University Playground and within the Dhaka University campus area.
3. Vehicles entering via Abdullahpur will park in the 300 Feet area.
Talebur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (Media) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, shared this information in a media release on Monday afternoon.
The DMP sought full cooperation of all attendees to help maintain traffic order and minimise con-gestion in Dhaka during the event.
