The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement’s Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit formed a fresh 20-member convening committee on Friday night.
Arif Sohel, member secretary of the platform’s central executive committee, announced the panel at a press briefing around 10pm at the Central Shaheed Minar of the university.
Arifuzzaman Uzzal was made convener of the committee, with Towhid Siam as the member secretary, Nakib Al Mahmud Arnob as the chief organiser, and Maliha Namlah as the spokesperson.
Other members of the committee are – Senior Joint Convener Imran Shahriar, joint conveners Nasim Al Tariq and Farhana Binte Zigar Farina, Senior Joint Member Secretary Md Obaidullah, joint member secretaries Nahid Hasan Emon and Imran Hossen Rahat, organising secretaries Jannat ul Ferdous Anjum and Md Raihan, general members are Nafiz Ur Rahman, Kawsar Al Arman, Tanvir Ahmed Shihab, Marjiur Rahman Chowdhury, Raid Hossen, and Galib Hasan.
Arif Sohel and Mehrab Shifat have been made advisers of the committee.
