India steps up security for BD’s Delhi mission

The government of India on Monday said they are taking action to step up security arrangements for the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi and their Deputy/Assistant High Commissions in the coun-try.
“The incident earlier yesterday of the breach of premises at the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala is deeply regrettable,” Indian Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.
Diplomatic and consular properties should not be targeted under any circumstances, the Indian ministry said.
