Panchagarh records lowest temperature

Panchagarh: The lowest temperature of the country was recorded at 10.3 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Panchagarh on Saturday, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
Panchagarh district has been experiencing the lowest temperature for the last five days until Saturday.
However, the intensity of the cold has decreased with the visibility of the sun.
On Saturday morning, people went out for work wearing warm clothes.
Severe cold was felt throughout the night.
Jitendranath Roy, acting in-charge of Tetulia Weather Observatory Centre, said the residents of the dis-trict have been witnessing 10.3 degrees Celsius for the past five days which is the country’s lowest tem-perature.
