Your uncompromising stance will remain an inspiration: Sarjis on Khaleda

Anti-Discrimination Student Movement coordinator Sarjis Alam met BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at Senakunja in Dhaka Cantonment on Thursday, on the occasion of the Armed Forces Day 2024.

Khaleda’s presence at the event marked her first public appearance in six years and first appearance at an Armed Forces Day reception in 12 years.

Later, Sarjis posted a photograph of his meeting with Khaleda on his facebook profile, adding the lines “[Madam] Your uncompromising stance will remain an inspiration for us.”
