Be ready to face challenges of 21st century

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman asked the members of the Army Service Corps (ASC) to remain prepared to face the challenges of the 21st century through modern and comprehensive training.

He said this while addressing the 43rd Annual Commanders Conference of the ASC as the chief guest at Jahanabad Cantonment in Khulna on Thursday.

General Waker-Uz-Zaman commemorated the ASC members who sacrificed their lives during the Liberation War of 1971.

He also highlighted the corps’ significant contributions to the nation and its proud heritage.

Senior officers from Army Headquarters were also present at the event.
