Dengue claims 5 more lives, death toll reaches 32 in last week

Staff Reporter:

A total of five more people died from dengue and 466 others were hospitalised after being infected by the related disease during the last 24 hours till Friday morning.

With latest casualties, the death toll from the mosquito-borne disease reached 32 in the last week while this year’s mounted to 342, according to a press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Of the five victims, three met the end of their lives while undergoing treatment at different hospitals under Dhaka South City Corporation area.
