The recipients have been asked to receive the HPV vaccine in the country by registering online on: www.vaxepi.gov.bd.
“All the recipients have to register online to get the HPV vaccine. Then they have to bring the downloaded vaccine card to receive the vaccine from selective vaccination centres,” Mohammad Shahriar Sajjad, deputy director (EPI) of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), said on Monday while speaking at an orientation programme arranged by the National Institute of Mass Communication.
However, the girls who can’t register online, can get the vaccine by showing the Vaccine Card provided by health workers, he added.
The final phase of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination campaign in Barishal, Chattogram, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Sylhet and Rangpur divisions starts on Thursday to protect 6.2 million girls aged 10-14 against cervical cancer.

Vaccination sessions will be held regularly from 8:00AM to 3:30PM, except on weekends and public holidays.
