Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted that weather may remain mainly dry today with temporary partly cloudy sky across the country.
“Weather will be remaining dry with temporary partly cloudy sky across the country today”, according to a met forecast issued yesterday.
Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from Bangladesh. A low pressure area has formed over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining area.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 35.2 degrees Celsius at Mongla while the min-imum temperature yesterday was recorded 23.0 degrees Celsius at Dimla.
Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am yesterday was recorded 27 millimeters (mm) at Patua-khali.
