BGB boosting security, law and order nationwide

Staff Reporter:

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has continued ramping up security and law enforcement efforts nationwide, with a special focus on border areas and minority communities.

The paramilitary force, in collaboration with local administrations, public representatives, and community leaders, has initiated various awareness campaigns and outreach programs in border regions.

These efforts aim to restore confidence in the security measures among minority communities, with BGB officials visiting minority-dominated areas, holding dialogue sessions, and organizing unity gatherings that bring together people from different religious and social backgrounds.

In addition to intensified patrols in minority-dominated border areas, the BGB is also working to stabilize activities in police stations across the country.

Enhanced security measures around police stations, combined with public engagement initiatives, encourage citizens to respect the law and contribute to maintaining peace and order.

Nationwide, the BGB has continued working alongside the military to improve law enforcement. This includes ensuring the safety of various garment factories in and around Dhaka.

In response to the ongoing conflict within Myanmar and the resulting challenges, the BGB has intensified both land and water patrols to ensure the security of the border communities.
