10,638 candidates pass 46th BCS preliminary test

A total of 10,638 candidates passed the 46th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination.

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) published the result on Thursday.

On 26 April, as many as 2,54,561 aspirants sat for the preliminary examination held simultaneously in eight divisional cities of the country. The two-hour test began at 10am.

On 30 November last year, the BPSC published the 46th BCS circular, seeking applications for 3,140 posts.
