Bhola: Member of Bangladesh Awami League Advisory Council Tofail Ahmed yesterday said all the people of the country want election except BNP.
He said this while speaking at a meeting on his election campaign at Shibpur Union under Sadar upazila here this afternoon.
Tofail Ahmed said Sheikh Hasina brought Bangladesh to a new height. “She lightened most of the villages in the country” he added.
He urged the people to go to vote centers and cast their votes for boat. Tofail Ahmed also asked people not to listen BNP as they want to anarchy in the name of movement.
Shibpur Union AL president Md Rashed Mia in the chair, the meeting was addressed, among others by district unit AL leader Abdul Momin Tulu, Sadar Upazila president Mosharrof Hossain, general secretary Nazrul Islam, Shibpur Union secretary Moinul Hossain Biplob and AL leader Mohammad Yusuf.
Tofail Ahmed is contesting from Bhola-1 in the upcoming election.
