State mourning today at Kuwait Emir’s death

Bangladesh will observe a one-day state mourning today at the death of its real friend Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.
Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard yesterday.
National flag will be kept at half-mast at all government, semi-government and autonomous institutions, all government and non-government buildings including educational institutions and Bangladesh mis-sions abroad in observance of the state mourning.
Special prayers will be offered at all mosques and other religious institutions seeking eternal peace of the departed soul.
Kuwait’s Emir passed away on Saturday at the age of 86.
