AMTOB welcomes new BTRC chairman

The Association of Mobile Telecom Operators of Bangladesh (AMTOB) has felicitated Mohiuddin Ahmed for assuming office as chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).

AMTOB delegation led by its senior vice-president Yasir Azman wished BTRC chairman Engineer Mohiuddin Ahmed at the latter’s office in Agargaon of the capital on Thursday.

AMTOB secretary general Mohammad Zulfikar said that BTRC new chairman Mohiuddin Ahmed has a wealth of knowledge as a seasoned engineer and a long track record of telecom regulation and industry expertise.

“We expect him to take the industry to new and innovative heights of digitalisation. His strategic vision and unwavering commitment to excellence will pave the way for remarkable achievements in the industry,” he said.

His outstanding skills and leadership qualities will inspire us all to strive for excellence and set new standards for our country’s digital transformation, according to the AMTOB official.

Teletalk managing director Habibur Rahman, AMTOB secretary general Mohammad Zulfikar, Grameenphone corporate affairs senior director Hossain Sadat, Banglalink chief corporate affairs officer Taimur Rahman, deputy director Mustafa Kamal Masud and head of corporate communication Towhid Ahmed, Robi vice-president Fazle Khuda and Teletalk deputy general manager Mamun Rashid were present on the occasion.

Afterward, the BTRC Chairman had a short meeting with the top leaders of the telecom industry.
