Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Director (Legal and Media Wing) Commander Khandaker Al Moin yes-terday said that the elite force has deployed 422 patrol teams across the country, including the capital, to keep the law and order normal.
A total of 130 petrol teams are deployed in the capital Dhaka and those have been entrusted with the responsibility of preventing violence and sabotage.
Khandaker Al Moin said that RAB detectives are working undercover in bus stands, railway stations and important places to prevent any kind of vandalism and violence. Besides, strict surveillance is also con-tinuing, he added.
He said that RAB’s elite forces will provide escort for long-distance public and goods transportation in different parts of the country.
