Foreign Secy, Haas hold meet

Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen and US Ambassador to Bangladesh Peter Haas yesterday held a bilateral meeting at State Guesthouse Padma in the capital.
“Ambassador Haas and Foreign Secretary Momen had a routine meeting yesterday to discuss ongoing developments in the bilateral relationship,” US embassy said yesterday on its official facebook page.
Bangladesh Ambassador to the United States, Muhammad Imran, was also present at the meeting that lasted for over half-an-hour.
Neither foreign secretary nor the US envoy makes any comment after the meeting to journalists waiting there.
