4.420 KGs gold recovered from a passenger

Chattogram: The Customs Intelligent officials at Shah Amanat International Airport yesterday seized gold items weighing 4.420 kilograms worth about Taka 3.54 crore under a seat of passenger of Air Ara-bia flight coming from Sharjah.
These gold items were found under a seat of a passenger who arrived on an Air Arabia flight at 8:15 am on Wednesday.
Abdul Motin Talukdar, Assistant director of Chattogram Custom House said that based on secrete infor-mation a Customs Intelligent team recovered the gold under the seat at the airport in an abandoned state.
The market value of these gold is Taka 3,54,00000, he added.
