Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested two Chhatra Dal men from Cox’s Bazar for their alleged involvement in the violence during BNP’s grand rally in Dhaka on October 28.
The arrestee are- former Vice President of Narayanganj District Chhatra Dal Abu Taleb Masum, son of Haji Nasirullah of Rupganj thana of Narayanganj district and Masum’s close aid Joj Miah, son of Rahiz Uddin of the same thana.
Khandaker Al Moin, director of the legal and media wing of RAB, confirmed the matter in a press conference held at RAB Media Center in city’s Karwan Bazar area yesterday.
He said on Friday night, teams comprising detective brunch of RAB headquarters, RAB-1 and RAB-15 conducted a joint operation in Cox’s Bazar and managed to nab them.
