A mild heatwave is sweeping over different parts of the country.
Besides, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast rain in different parts of the country over the next 24 hours, starting at 9 am.
“Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Dhaka, Khulna & Barishal divisions,” the bulletin said.
It also said moderately heavy falls may occur at places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Chat-togram and Sylhet divisions.
Day and night temperatures may fall slightly over the country.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was 37.5 degrees Celsius in Feni, while yesterday’s minimum temperature is 24 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.
The sun sets at 6:01 pm yesterday and rises at 5:45 am today in Dhaka.
