Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) yesterday forecasted rain in different parts of the country today.
“Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions,” said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
Besides, it said, moderately heavy falls may occur at places over the country.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Monday was 35.3 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi, while yesterday’s mini-mum temperature is 24.1 degrees Celsius in Narayanganj.
In the last 24 hours (till 06 am yesterday), the highest 69 millimetre rainfall occurred in Koyra.
The sun sets at 6:11 pm yesterday and rises at 5:42 am today in Dhaka.
