BMD yesterday forecasted rain in different parts of the country today.
“Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at few places over Dhaka, Khulna & Barishal divisions,” said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
Day and night temperatures may fall slightly over the country.
The highest temperature on Saturday was recorded at 36.8 degrees Celsius in Sayedpur, while yes-terday’s minimum temperature was 24.6 degrees Celsius in Teknaf.
In the last 24 hours (till 06 am yesterday), the highest 31 millimeter rainfall occurred in Teknaf.
