Members of the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit in a drive arrested four suspected muggers from Jatrabari area of the capital on Sunday.
The arrestees were identified as Mohammad Ali, 20, Nurnabi Akash Majhi, 23, Jamal, 25, and So-han, 26.
Acting on a tip-off, a CTTC team conducted a drive in the Golchattar area around 8:15am and ar-rested them while they were preparing to commit mugging, said Niaz Mehedi, Additional Deputy Commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.
The arrestees were later produced before a court, he said.
