Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) yesterday forecasted rain in different parts of the countryto-day.
“Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna & Barishal divisions,” said a Met office bulletin yesterday.
Besides, it said, moderately heavy to very heavy falls may occur at places over the country.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 35 degrees Celsius in Jashore, while yesterday’s mini-mum temperature was 24 degrees Celsius in Sylhet.
In the last 24 hours (till 06 am yesterday), the highest 90 millimeter rainfall occurred in Cox’s Bazar.
The sun sets at 6:29 pm yesterday and rises at 5:33 am today in Dhaka.
