The third session of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad (Parliament) will begin on August 27 (Thursday).
Acting President Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, Bir Bikram, summoned the session by exercising the powers vest-ed in him under Article 72(1) of the Constitution of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
The session will begin at 3:00 pm on August 27 (12 Bhadra 1433 of the Bangla calendar), Thursday, at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital.
A notification to this effect has been issued by order of the President.
