Dr Zahid’s mother dies

Begum Jebunnesa, mother of Social Welfare, Women and Children Affairs Minister Professor Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, passed away yesterday. She was 83.
She breathed her last at 5.38am at a city hospital while undergoing treatment. She had been suffering from various old age complications, a ministry release said.
Begum Jebunnesa, professionally was a teacher, survived by two sons, two daughters, numerous relatives and admirers to mourn her death.
Her namaj-e Janaza will be held after Asar prayer today at Mymensingh Eidgah premises.
After the namaj-e-Janaza she will be buried at Gulkibari family graveyard besides the grave of her hus-band Jafar Ali Sarker.
