Bangladesh and Pakistan yesterday expressed hope for making bilateral relations deeper and more multi-dimensional through expanded cooperation in trade, investment and other sectors.
This was revealed when Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Imran Haider paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tejgaon yesterday, said a press release.
During the talks, the two sides discussed various issues of mutual interest and reviewed the state of bilat-eral relations.
They particularly stressed the need for strengthening relations, increasing trade and investment, and ex-panding cooperation in different sectors.
Both sides voiced optimism that ties between the two countries would grow stronger and broader in the days ahead.
