Ziauddin Hyder has been appointed as the Special Assistant on health affairs to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, according to a government gazette issued yesterday.
A notification signed by Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani confirmed the appointment.
According to the notification, the Prime Minister appointed S. M. Ziauddin Hyder and assigned him re-sponsibilities under Rule 3B( 2) of the Rules of Business, 1996.
While holding the post of Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, he will enjoy the rank, salary, allow-ances, and other ancillary benefits equivalent to those of a state minister.
