Speaker’s wife Dilara Hafiz passes away

Dilara Hafiz, wife of Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, Bir Bikram, passed away in Sin-gapore yesterday at the age of 78.
She breathed her last at Singapore General Hospital at 1:29 pm (Singapore local time) while under-going treatment, said BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan.
She is survived by her husband, a son, a daughter, grandchildren and a host of relatives and admir-ers.
The body of Dilara Hafiz will be brought to Bangladesh today evening.
Her first namaz-e-janaza will be held at the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad at 11 am on March 30, followed by burial at Banani Military Graveyard after the second namaz-e-janaza at the Central Mosque in Cantonment after Zuhr prayers.
