PM pays tribute to language martyrs at Central Shaheed Minar

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will pay tribute to the language movement martyrs at the Central Shaheed Minar at the first hour of Ekushey.

The information was announced on Friday through the Facebook page of the media cell of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

According to the media cell, the Prime Minister will place a wreath at the Central Shaheed Minar at 12:01am on Friday night, marking Shaheed Day and International Mother Language Day 2026.

The occasion commemorates the sacrifices of the language martyrs, who laid down their lives to protect the Bangla language.
