Abdullah Al Jaber, member secretary of Inqilab Moncho, has said the killing of Osman Hadi was not carried out by a single individual but by an organised network operating behind the scenes.
He demanded that all those involved—from planners to facilitators—be brought to justice without delay.
Speaking briefly at Manik Mia Avenue on Saturday ahead of the janaza, Jaber said, “We believe this was not the act of one killer. From planning to execution, an entire network was involved. Justice will remain incomplete unless this network is exposed.”
He called on the home affairs adviser and his special assistant, Khoda Box, to clarify within the next 24 hours what steps have been taken in the case. Failure to show concrete progress within that timeframe, he said, should lead to their resignation.
Jaber also urged authorities to identify “embedded agents” within civil and military intelligence. “As long as those sheltering or enabling killers from within the state apparatus remain untouched, such murders will continue,” he said.
Calling for restraint, Jaber urged people to refrain from violence. He asked supporters to gather at the University of Dhaka after the janaza and burial of Osman Hadi beside the grave of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, saying that the next course of action would be announced from there.
