Supreme Court Secretariat introduces E-File Management System

Staff Reporter:

The Supreme Court Secretariat has introduced the e-Nothi (Electronic File Management System) for official operations, marking a significant step toward modernising its administrative functions.

The system was launched on 12 December with the aim of making the newly established Supreme Court Secretariat’s official activities more dynamic, transparent, and accountable, said a press release.

The initiative is also expected to enhance coordination between the Secretariat and other government departments, as well as streamline internal administrative processes.

From now on, all official activities of the Supreme Court Secretariat will be conducted through the e-Nothi system.

Officials said the successful implementation of electronic file management will help prevent delays in file processing and enable real-time tracking of file status and progress.

In addition, the digital system is expected to address challenges related to physical file storage, reduce security risks associated with paper-based records, and simplify inter-departmental coordination and approval procedures.

The introduction of e-Nothi reflects the judiciary’s broader commitment to adopting digital solutions to improve efficiency and accountability in public administration.
