The Advisory Committee has given approval in principal to the amendments of the Detailed Area Plan (DAP) and draft of the Dhaka Metropolitan Building Rules-2025.
The approval came from a meeting of the Advisory Committee at Ministry of Housing and Public Works yesterday, said a press release.
The Advisory Committee on Monitoring the Implementation of DAP prepared by RAJUK and formulat-ing recommendations for amendments where applicable was held under the chairmanship of Adviser to the Ministry of Land Ali Imam Majumdar.
Based on the approval in yesterday’s meeting, the DAP (2022-2035) will be published in gazette form soon.
Adviser to Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan, Adviser to Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Syeda Rizwana Hasan and Adviser to the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, Adilur Rahman Khan were present at the meeting.
