Jeweler shops closed today for Durga Puja

All jeweler outlets across the country will remain closed today (Sept 30) on the occasion of Durga Puja, said Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) on Monday.
In a press release, BAJUS said the shops will remain closed marking Maha Ashtami, one of the major days of the festival.
BAJUS General Secretary Badal Chandra Roy said jeweler stores are kept closed every year on Maha Ashtami and the same decision has been taken this time.
Gold trading will resume as usual from tomorrow (Wednesday).
