The government yesterday transferred 10 Superintendent of Police (SP).
The home ministry issued a gazette notification signed by Deputy Secretary Tousif Ahmed in this regard here.
It said the government cancelled transfer order of SP of Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) Md Abul Kalam Azad to Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP) as Deputy Commissioner (DC) while Dr Eliza Shar-min, assistant inspector general (AIG) of Police Headquarters to Bangladesh Police Academy in Sarda, Rajshahi as Police Super.
SP of Police Telecom Asma Begum Rita has been transferred to Police Training Centre (PTC), Noakha-li, as SP, SP of PTC, Noakhali Mohammad Ashraf Imam to PBI as SP, DC of Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP) Md Abdur Rashid to Rapid Action battalion (RAB) as SP, Additional SP (SP Supernu-merary) of Sylhet Range DIG Office Md Asaduzzaman to Armed Police Battalion (APBn) as Additional SP, Additional SP (SP Supernumerary) of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Makarum Munira to Police Headquarters as Additional SP, Additional DC (SP Supernumerary) of RpMP Md Ruhul Amin to Highway Police as Additional SP, Additional SP (SP Supernumerary) of APBn Kazi Rubaiyat Rumi to PTC, Tangail, as Additional SP and Additional SP (SP Supernumerary) of Bangladesh Police Acade-my, Sarda Md Jayed Shahriar to Special Branch (SB) as Additional SP, the notification said.
The order, published on public interest, will be effective immediately, it added.
