Two more people died from dengue in the 24 hours till Thursday morning, bringing the total death toll to 38 so far this year, said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in an update.
The deceased were identified as a male teenager, 14, and a woman, 48.
In the 24 hours till 8am Thursday, 195 people were hospitalised with the viral disease across the country, the most being in Barishal division with 74 hospitalisations.
Ninety others were hospitalised in Dhaka division, including 60 in city areas, 18 were hospitalised in Rajshahi division, 8 in Chattogram division, 3 in Sylhet division and 2 in Mymensingh division.
In total, 9,065 people have been infected with the mosquito-borne disease so far this year.
