A Dhaka court yesterday ordered to attach a flat in the capital’s Gulshan belonging to ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina’s daughter Saima Wazed Putul and appoint a receiver to look after the property.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order, granting an appeal of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
The anti-graft body in its plea said the accused has attempted to sell or change the ownership of the assets, and if she succeeds in doing so, the investigation will be hampered.
For thorough probe into the graft case, the ACC requested the court to attach the property and ap-point a receiver to look after it.
