Offices reopen today after Eid vacation

After a long nine-day Eid vacation, all government, semi-government and private offices, autonomous bodies, banks and stock markets will reopen today.
A 9-day public holiday began on March 28 (Friday).
The people are returning to the capital after celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the biggest religious festivals of the Muslim community.
Earlier, on March 20, the Advisory Council meeting approved the proposal to grant a holiday on April 3 by executive order on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. The holy Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated in the country on March 31.
On the occasion of Eid, March 28 to April 3 were public holidays. After Eid, there were weekly holi-days on Friday and Saturday, April 04 and April 05. As a result, employees enjoy holidays from March 28 to April 5.
After nine consecutive holidays, all will join work on Sunday.
