BNP Joint Secretary General Imran Saleh Prince has pointed his finger at the defeated Awami League for engaging in anti-state conspiracy and blamed it for staging a drama in the name of election in the country over the last 15 years.
Calling upon the incumbent administration to remain alert against the conspiracy, the BNP leader said that establishing people’s ownership through a participatory election should be the main objective of the government.
Prolonging the national election on the pretext of reforms and the conspiracy of the anti-state elements may plunge the country into deep uncertainty, he said.
He was addressing an iftar party held at a college ground under Haluaghat Upazila of Mymensingh on Monday.
