Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) yesterday forecasted that weather may remain mainly dry over the country today.
“Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country”, the BMD bulletin said.
A trough of Westerly low lies over the West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal low lies over the South Bay.
Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, it added.
Country’s maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 35.0 degrees Celsius at Patuakhali , while the minimum temperature yesterday was recorded 14.0 degrees Celsius at Tetulia.
The sunset yesterday at 06:02 pm and rises at 06:19 am today in the capital.
