Video surfaces of miscreant hacking police, snatching accomplice in capital

A video started circulating in the social media on Thursday afternoon showing a youth hitting a policeman with a machete in broad daylight, forcing the law enforcer to uncuff a suspected drug peddler.

The incident reportedly occurred in the capital’s Kawran Bazar area on Tuesday.

Though the video shows an eager crowd gathering around the commotion, none comes to the aid of the police member.
