Joint forces arrested 566 people as part of the countrywide Operation Devil Hunt in the last 24 hours till Thursday noon.
According to the Police Headquarters, 1,099 more people, who were wanted in different ceases, were also apprehended during the period.
Two pistols, two magazines, five bullets, a knife and a machete were recovered from the arrestees.
In the previous 24 hours ending on Wednesday noon, a total of 591 people were arrested across the country under the special operation apart from 1,095 others already facing charges.
On the third day on Tuesday, the joint forces arrested 1,775 people, including 607 under the Operation Devil Hunt.
At least 343 people were arrested under the special drive on Monday. That day, the forces held a total of 1,521 people.
On Sunday (9 February) on the first of the drive, the forces arrested 1,308 people but did not mention how many were detained under the operation.
