Shawwal moon may be sighted on Friday: Met office

The Eid holiday has begun. Many people have reached their village homes to celebrate Eid with their relatives. Many people, however, are on the way to their homes. Now, it is time for the waiting of the Shawwal Moon. Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), however, informed about the moon sighting.

BMD has said the month of holy Ramadan may end in 29 days and the Shawwal moon may be sighted on Friday (April 21). As per that account, the Eid-ul-Fitr, the largest festival of Muslims, is supposed to be on April 22 (Saturday).
