India starts enmity with BD: BNP

A Correspondent:

Munshiganj: BNP Vice Chairman Dr Asaduzzaman Ripon has said that India has started enmity against 18 crore people of the country to keep friendship with one party and one particular leader (Sheikh Hasina).
“India has started enmity against 18 crore people of Bangladesh just to keep friendship with one party and one leader (Sheikh Hasina).
Sheikh Hasina has hatching conspiracies against Bangladesh staying abroad. But, the people of Bangla-desh are united.
We will face the conspiracy with collective efforts,” he said.
He came up with the remarks while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion organized by the Louha-jang Upazila unit BNP at Ghor Dour area on Saturday .
The present interim government has called for national unity, he said, adding that the Bangladesh Na-tionalist Party (BNP) has been extending all out supports to this government.
He said, “If BNP comes to power through the people’s vote, good governance will be established in the country.
Citizens of all religion and faiths will enjoy equal rights so that none will feel insecure. The politics before and after the August 5 uprising are different. The people of the country do not like the politics which has done before.”
With former Louhajang Upazila BNP General Secretary Professor Shahjahan Bepari in the chair, the discussion was addressed, among others, by BNP leaders Advocate Wahiduzzaman Titu, Advocate Nasir Uddin Bepari, Sheikh Kamal, Lutfor Rahman, Mosharraf Hossain and Md Ashiq.
Asaduzzaman Ripon said Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has placed 31 points reform proposals for changing the state structure.
“There will be more reforms. BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia spoke about reforms for running the state in 2016.
If the Almightily Allah will desire, I will do politics for the welfare of the people in the days to come and stand beside the people,” he added.
